Clomid

Well I went to my OB/GYN has made it official i'm using clomid starting in April!! So, Ladies give me advice on this and i'm kind of excited about this so, I hope you all can help me since many of you have used this and other drugs so, please let me know how did it work for you or if it didnt

    I think everyone's reaction to clomid is different, but it made me very moody and weepy. I only made two follicles when I was on it and had two failed IUIs with it. So I guess I could say it didn't work well for me. The side effects were so bad I asked to

    Also you should be closely monitored when you are on it. I know people who have gotten pg on Clomid. Good luck!

    Clomid made me not ovulate even though I ovulate fine on my own.  I did not experience bad side effects, but we only used it for one cycle due to my poor response.
    Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011
    9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
    IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
    ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
    FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
    EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    well my OB is watching me on them and I had two kids before so, I should be ok I'm the whole purpose is to get pregnant on them if possible but, I will tell you how it goes

    I did 5 days on Clomid this month, on cd10 had four follicles measured at 10's and 11's not sure if that is a good measurement or not but they found a pylop so had to cancel my iui and will do Clomid again in May at double the dose I had this month. It do

    Married in September 2010, started TTC journey November 2012

    Me-

    7 IUI- 2 CP- 2 BFN

    RPL blood work 12/27, showed a balance translocation in chromosome 11;22  

    Spouse-

    PCOS 4 IUI-4 BFN

    New Plan: Reciprocal IVF, me as carrier wife's eggs. Just went through insurance and received partial approval, so my part will go through my IVF benefits and wife's part will be out of pocket. Now just finalizing finance plans to cover the oop costs. Doctors office is in process of moving to a new building so there are no IVF start ups until March/April 2015.

    I think our doctor is going to put us on clomid as well...Jory, what doctor do you go to?

    Ultrasound at 18 weeks on 7/14/2014. Baby is healthy and growing just as she should!

    If you're using clomid you do need to be monitored closely, as pp said. Many OBs prescribe clomid but don't monitor appropriately, so I usually advise people to go to a RE if they think they might have to take a medicated route. I took clomid (under a

    We went through a fertility specialist and tried just IUI 3 times then for my first round of 5 day Clomid with a shot if hcg before IUI I got pregnant! We're 6 weeks and have our first appt with ultrasound Monday. Good luck!
