So, my DD HATES being strapped down in her carseat. We use an infant carseat and she loves to sit up. Do you think a convertible seat would make this easier on us? She literally screams and pushes against the straps trying to sit upright. Also, can you put toys on a convertible seat? Do you recommend any particular ones?

I probably wouldn't switch to a convertible seat at 3 months. The infant car seat is just too convenient right now. I plan to wait until W is pretty good at sitting unassisted before switching to the convertible seat. It will probably be another f

It wouldn't hurt to try the convertible. It could also be that the infant seat needs to be adjusted. I didn't think the straps in ours were too small, until DH moved them, now LO is so much more content in her seat again.
