April Fools Day

How many women are going to "fake go into labor" or "have their waters break" on April first to prank their DH? I'm thinking about it. But is that too mean?

I was just hoping there would be a perfect chance for me to spill a glass of water on the kitchen floor and pretend like it was my water. Then again I don't want to excite him for no reason. Or be the boy who cried wolf.

Ha...I thought about it but i think it would freak him out to much and he wouldn't think it was funny...maybe ill do it my sister or something

DH and I have a deal that he won't doubt me and I won't prank him. I honestly think he would be a little hurt if I took advantage of his anticipation like that.

I have thought about it, since SO is out of town and won't be back until the 13th but I think it'll be a little too mean...but so much fun!!! I haven't made up my mind yet lol

The problem with this joke is that it could lead to a boy who called wolf problem, where you do then go into labor and he doesn't believe you.

Ya, DH already looks at me with concern every time I breathe funny.....so it wouldn't be as funny as it would be mean. I can think of a better prank by then:)

Last year, I honestly crashed my car on April 1st. Nobody (except DH who I called in tears) believed me. Now I'm telling everyone "Learn from last year. If I say I'm in labor, IT'S TRUE!!"

It's too close to my due date to pull that trick.

If I actually deliver on April 1st, I might put a ridiculously horrible name up on Facebook or claim we had triplets, but I'm really hoping this baby comes in March, so we'll see what happens.<br

When I was pregnant with my first my math teacher senior year of high school bagged me to fake labor in class, he was gonna pay me 50 bucks just to pretend but I was way to shy and embarrassed. It would have green funny tho

I am scheduled for induction the night of the 31st, so DS will likely be born on April 1st. I am just wondering how many people will actually believe me!

Definitely considered it, but I couldn't do that to anyone... Especially since it's entirely possible that it really WILL happen.

The few times I've tried to do pranks on April Fools Day it's gone wrong and someone has ended up mad. Because of that I haven't done any April Fools pranking since about 5th grade.

I promised my family that I wouldn't. I warned them that if I called on April 1st it would be for real, although I'm not due until the 19th so hopefully baby won't come that early.

Nope. With six days to go at that point, I don't want the bad karma of faking it and then go past my due date. For my DH it would be too mean, he's on baby watch now.
