a lot of people use swaddles till baby can roll over (about 3-4 months) then use sleep sacks. Never heard any different but if you're concerned talk to you pedi now or when they visit you at the hospital.
I swaddled my son up to four months because he needed to be swaddled to sleep. However, sleep sacks are also safe to use instead of swaddling if you get a newborn that is content sleeping not swaddled.
I found a couple of swaddle sleep sacks I plan on trying out since layering a swaddle blanket on top of a sleep sack seems a bit much with the heat we get here in Ca, hopefully they work well because I think it's a pretty good idea!
