Update on Thomas - Wednesday

Thomas is doing a lot better!  He got off the ventilator and the high flow oxygen and got moved to the regular Pediatric floor from ICU.  We can hold him, he has way less cords and wires attached to him and he is back to nursing well.  I'm so so glad we have seen such a turn around from a week ago.  Even though he's doing well it's a slow process to wean him off the oxygen.  I am hoping he is able to wean quite a bit today so that we can go home soon!  I really really hope we will be home by Easter but who knows.   It's so nice to see him back to being a normal baby and back to his normal self.  

I miss Olivia a ton and I cannot wait to get home.  We only get to see her about an hour max a day and I'm sure she's ready to be back at home and back in a normal routine.   Pray Thomas can get off oxygen soon!

    I can't imagine the ordeal you are going through, but I'm glad to hear Thomas is doing well.  Praying you get home for Easter or very soon!

    Hurray!!  Party!!! I am so glad he is out of ICU and off of the ventilator! That is the most fabulous news I have heard in a while! Thank you very much for the update as

    That is such great news to read! I can't imagine what you and your family have been going through with this whole situation, I'm sure it takes a toll on everyone. I hope Thomas is able to come home before Easter :-)

    I am so sorry to hear Thomas was on the vent in the first place! That is absolutely terrifying and you must be beyond relieved. Thoughts and prayers that he gets 100% off oxygen soon so you can all be back together at home.
