Had my baby... long
Hi everyone. I had my little guy last Friday morning. He was 39 weeks, scheduled c-section, everything looked great. He did great during delivery and started to have trouble breathing when he was a few hours old. After a few tests, and a few hours of things not getting better, they decided to transfer him to the large Children's hospital about 40 min away. The neonatal transport team came and got him, packed him up and brought him in my room to say goodbye. They transferred me a few hours later.
By that night, he was put on a ventilator because he was in so much distress. Luckily after a few hours he came off the vent and has been on oxygen since. It has been quite the rollercoaster ride, but he's getting better everyday, and he should be able to come home Sun or Mon. For now, I'm trying to recover and stay sane. We've been visiting the NICU for a few hrsa day, then I've been spending the evenings with my older son. I have seen sterngth and love in my family, friends and myself I didn't even know was possible.
No real point of this post, other than just to tell you all my story, and if you're the praying type keep my little guy in your prayers, and hopefully my family will be under one roof very soon. I have the ultimate mommy guilt right now, I am constantly away from one of my kids.

Do they know why he was struggling?
How scary-- I hope things continue to improve and your LO gets to come home very soon.
