I just found out my husband and I are expecting. We started not not trying at Christmas, and I think I had thought it would take longer to conceive, so I haven't done much research, and would love recommendations.
Dr Sarah Woods was my ob at UNMH she is a wonderful Dr and super sweet I absoutly loved her. I also think she sees patients at Lovelace too. And if she cant be your ob im srue she could recomend a colliege. Hope this helps.
I liked doctor Rebecca Okun at Women's Specialists of New Mexico. . If you are looking for someone who will tell it to you straight with no sugar coating, she is your woman. If you are looking for a more flowery, emotional type doctor, then she wouldn't be for you.
Thank you so much for your recommendations. I looked into a bunch of OBs, and I liked that both of the people you guys recommended were women (for me that is important). What I ran into was that many of the OBs available for my insurance were not accepting new patients. I just had my first appointment with Kelly Stuart, MD with Presbyterian, and I think I will stick with her. She was no nonsense, which I liked, and close to my house which is also wonderful.

Morning..I. was reading ur posts and wat a coinsidence Kelly Stewart is my dr as well I'm due aug 20th I'm glad to have heard good about her before having met her. Our first meet n greet is on the 8th
When we left my husband and I looked at each other and both said we didn't need to look for anyone else. We have hears horror stories about people having to visit several OBs before finding one they liked, so we felt lucky. She is down to earth, a mom of twins, and took her time with us and answered all our questions honestly.
