What a Stubborn Baby

I was so excited this whole month to see my baby on an ultrasound. ( they were checking to see if my low lying placenta had moved up ). Our baby is a stubborn little thing. We got to see the back of the head and its back.

Good news my placenta moved up. Bad news I have a right transverse baby who won't show themselves.
It's hard that with the news of having to stand on my head 6x a day to get this baby to move in the correct position. I get no picture to gaze at. All our ultrasounds have gone like this. The first was six weeks when baby was a polka dot. 12 weeks which baby was so active the pictures are blurry. And now we get a large circle and part of backbone. So jealous of the other ladies and their babies beautiful ultrasounds. It's hard to feel a connection sometimes we chose to be team green and I think this baby decided that meant we do not get to see hands, feet or face either.
Oh well will make this birth so much more exciting when I can see a profile and be like so that's what you look like and oh look you actually do have hands and feet. Baby was curled in a ball most of the time with hands and feet at my spine.
Sorry for the pity party just needed to vent to someone. Family and hubby says well nothing you can do baby just wants to keep sex, face, and appendages a secret until birth.

  • If it makes you feel any better, I've averaged an ultrasound every 2.5 weeks and still don't have much to show for it! Baby has either had its hands, feet or both in its face. And fortunately we are team green because when it was anatomy scan time, LO had

  • Thanks mommas for all the kind words. It is so true that in the end the pics are really not that important. I was very happy about the placenta moving up now to get this baby turned ( lying right transverse ). I did get to find out that the baby has hair.

  • My baby is stubborn too. I had an US at 30 weeks and she was facedown in my right ribcage. The tech couldn't get ANY good pictures. She basically told me not to even waste my money on buying any pictures cause they aren't good anyways. Oh well, soon we wi
