Well ladies, I'm progressing very slowly but this is my first, so I expected that. I'm having pretty good contractions, anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 minutes apart. The bummer is that I'm only dialed to a 1 so far... It's been a long day already, but I'm hopeful that I'll keep progressing even if slowly.
So far the cervidil was all I needed to get going. The Dr will be calling back soon to let me know if we'll be doing more cervidil or starting pit in the next hour. Since my cervix is still fairly thick, the nurse thought we'd do another round of cervidil instead of starting the pit. I'll keep you posted!
I want you all to know that I have truly enjoyed getting to know you and sharing in this incredible journey! I look forward to getting all kinds of great advice and tips from you ladies after we've all had our babies!

The feeling is mutual, dear. And I'm glad we have technology while IN the hospital to stay connected / stay distracted!
Were you effaced /dilated at all before starting the cerv? On Friday, I was 1.5 cm dilated and about 60-70%
