There's this woman at my work whose baby's EDD was a week before my loss EDD. She had her baby a month early, which is a little over a year ago. I really had a hard time dealing with seeing her pregnant as you all know what that is like. During that time, I avoided her and refused to acknowledge that pregnancy. I would cringe every time I saw her and the other woman whose EDD was a couple weeks after hers. She didn't and still doesn't know about the loss... we aren't close or anything. Sometimes I think about the fact I could have had a LO about the same age as hers. I have moved on from that... having DD helped. I wouldn't give her up for anything in the universe.
Anyway, I ran into her at work today and lo and behold, she's got a baby bump again. I did congratulate her and chatted with her a bit about it. I have been thinking about the whole thing since I got home from work and I keep thinking what a huge difference in emotions and reactions from a year ago. I do not know what I would have done if I continued to have trouble TTCing....probably just have a total breakdown. Geez.
