Boobs still NOT leaking?

So with my first, my milk didn't come in until a week post partum which sucked and it was one of the reasons (amongst others) I wasn't able to BF.

This time around I've been trying to check my boobs every now and then to see if anything is coming out and NADA yet. Dry as a dessert.

I've heard that nipple stimulation can help - is this true?

Anyone else not leaking yet? I'm worried that history will repeat itself and my milk will take a while to come in and I won't be able to BF yet again.

ETA: For those STMs who never leaked prior to delivery - how long did it take for your milk to come in?

I've never had any leaking prior to giving birth. I nursed DS successfully for 22 months. I don't think leaking in pregnancy has anything to do with when your milk comes in after birth.

It's quite common that your milk doesn't come in until 3-5 days after birth. That's when they're getting colostrum.

I didn't leak with my DSs and am pretty sure there isn't anything flowing yet this time either.

I have had no leakage.

i have been able to ET some collestrum out of the left one through nipple stimulation, but nothing out of the right!

I'm a FTM so I don't really have any advice (except to say that nipple stimulation does make me leak -- colostrum, not breastmilk at this stage), but I have a question:

Why would your milk coming in late cause you to never be able to BF? C

I didn't leak prior to delivery, but if I squeezed a tiny tiny bit of colustrum would come out - I noticed it about 3 weeks ago this time around, probably around 37 weeks with my first. With my first, my milk came in around day 3.

I'm not leaking and I'll be perfectly if I don't.

With both girls, I never leaked and my milk came in within 3 days of giving birth, if I recall correctly.

I never leaked with D. My milk came in about 4 days pp. We ebf for 9 months.
Still no leaking this time around either

I never leaked with my first and breastfed for over a year. This time I'm leaking a bit when I scrub my nipples, they've been getting really dry and itchy. Maybe try the stimulation and try expressing a little to encourage production.

Did not leak before and it took about 3 days for one and 4 for the other. Super odd, but interestingly, the one that came in first always had a bigger supply than the other.

With DS, it took about 3 or 4 days for my milk to come in. I never leaked prior to birth (had a c-section). I think that one thing that helped was that I used the hospital pump from day 1 to stimulate and get the milk to come in. I wa

I didn't leak at all with my first. BM came in at about 4 days. And I BFed for 15 months. Try not to worry

I am so relieved to read all of these! I feel like everyone has been saying how they are leaking like faucets and I was starting to worry because I haven't lost a drop!! So happy to read that a lot of other women have been successfully breastfeeding with

Mine never did, even when I BF'ed for 15 months. DS was born on a Thursday and milk came in on Sunday.
