False labor???

So I'm a FTM and ill be 39 weeks... Yesterday I had contractions ever 1015 minutes cramps, tightening, lower back pain, erge to poop , all the symptoms..... For like 10 hours... I got really excited because I thought I was going into early labor... Then I went to sleep fine and didnt feel a thing.. Has anyone else gone through this...is it normal?

    Very normal, unfortunately!! That's why docs ave the 5-1-1 rule. Contrax should be 5 or less minutes apart, lasting at least 1 minute, for at least 1 hour. I now it is frustrating, but think of it as your body getting in a little extra practice :)

    I had the same thing on Sunday :(. Contractions every 8 min for an hour, back pain, general discomfort etc.  I even called the doc just to check, and she said to wait until they were every 5 min, and stronger in intensity. I thought for sure I was

    Yep, totally normal.  I have been going through this for a few weeks.  I actually woke up in the middle of the night last night to some strong contractions.  They eventually went away and I was super disappointed.
