So many pictures...

I'm currently in the process of backing up all my pictures.  Holy crap, I have a ton.  Does anyone else get the urge to get prints of all of them?  I won't (way too many), but I want something tangible, not just knowing they're safe in cyberspace.  That being said, I know hard copies can be ruined through fire and water, but again- the ability to physically flip through them seems important to me.  That may be my summer project - picking the top pictures to get prints of.

    I make a hard copy of almost every picture. It is an expense and they take up a lot of room. But like you I am afraid not to have them in case they disappear on the computer.

    I make my dad albums for every 4 months of Bo's life! He is on the east coast so it is my way to show him who Bo is and involve him in his life! That said, I wish I would have done it for myself! How cool would it be to have a picture library? I suppose I

    Yes! but I don't. I have them saved in 3 places, so I hope that is enough. Sometimes I still think I need to have hard copies stored somewhere.

    well I upload to shutterfly because even an external hard drive can be damaged (we have one in our safe with pictures and wedding video footage).

    I want to eventually get my act together and make family "yearbook" on shutterfl

    I back mine up on an external hard drive. I just backed up the pictures on my phone. I do upload them occasionally to shutterfly and my parents have a bunch. Like CDs of pictures, incase anything happened. I'm really crazy obsessed about our pictures.

    This is why I love Shutterfly. I take a lot of pictures and get the prints when they are offering them for free. I just ordered a free photobook yesterday. I don't know that I've actually paid for any pictures yet, just shipping. The pictures are saved on
