What to serve with...

Cheddar, sundried tomato and bacon spiral scones.

My family is coming to visit for the long weekend. I plan on making them for breakfast on Saturday but I'm not sure what I want to serve with them. I'm definitely making a fruit salad, but I was thinking some kind of egg as well... Ideas?

I would do a quiche of some kind, I like the idea of the spinach quiche here because of contrasting colors with the scones.

I like the idea of a quiche, or some sort of egg bake. If it were me I would probably go with a crustless quiche since the grain is already covered with the scones.

I usually do strata but that might be too much with the scones. Maybe just some sort of egg scramble with cheese and sausage?

Going off of the crustless quiche idea, you could make it really easy on yourself and just do mini omelets cups in a muffin tin. You can add whatever veggies you want, like asparagus, mushroom, green onion, whatever. And you won't have to worry about slic
