Sippy Cup Help

Can you recommend your sippy cup please?

Right now we are using a Dr. Browns and a NUK and DS always chokes when he drinks from them. Our pedi said it would get better over time, but it?s been three months and I don?t see it getting any better. I?m thinking that we need to get one that has a straw like mouth piece but I don?t know. Anyway, I am open to suggestions.

TIA!

  • I'm no help, E won't drink out of a sippy.  She loves to carry it around and put it in her mouth, but she hasn't figured out how to actually drink out of it.  We have the playtex sipster.  It has a removable valve so that it has a slow flow

  • We used mostly Tommee Tippee until DS was old enough for regular straw cups.   We still use TT soft straw cups for milk, and munchkin regular straw cups for water.

  • We have tried many types of straw cups, and the best ones IMO are Nuby true straw cups, the ones marked 12+ months. I didn't look to see how old your LO is, so if they are more like 6-9 months, I would recommend the playtex straw cup which is smaller,

  • I really liked the playtex straw cup with the handles. You can squeeze the cup and a little comes out of the straw.

I've always used straw sippies and haven't regretted not using the sippies they tip back to drink out of.
