2 year old playing through nap!

I swear my ds has way more energy than the average lol...I'm sure we all feel this way somedays.  He has literally been on the move 24/7 and is literally ripping his room apart during nap and at bed time.   It is pretty much empty at this point but he has sliding closet doors that I have yet to figure out how to secure them shut!  Anybody input or thoughts would be appreciated I'm at a loss, without his nap he is a bear the rest of the day

    Earlier wake up time and running him ragged straight up until naptime?  Sorry, I don't have anything else.  My DD will play quietly if she's not tired so I can't relate to the hurricane!

    We went a week without naps because my LO just wouldn't take them. At one point her hallway outside of her bedroom door was filled with everything from her room aside from her bed, a pillow and a blanket. That was in hopes that an empty room would help

    Oh no.... this is us. Two days of no-napping so far, and I can see that it is going to be a battle. Poor kid. Poor us. He just won't relax... won't sleep. He was so over-tired at bedtime tonight that he could not wind down at all. 

    Just vent

    This happens in our house a couple times a week and the last-ditch solution the classic taking him for a drive. DH is really good at getting him out of the car and into his crib without waking him up.
