Appropriate exercise

I've always done pretty hard core workouts and now that I'm pregnant id like to tone it down a bit and do some more appropriate workouts but the prenatal yoga DVDs ive tried aren't challenging at all. Does anyone have suggestions as far as DVDs? I'm 10 weeks along.

  • At 10 weeks, you should be able to do most if not all of the exercises you did before you got pregnant.  Just avoid anything with a risk of falling ie. downhill skiing.  After 20 weeks, you will have to avoid anything thati involves lying on

  • Any prenatal dvds are very slow. Depending on what you have done in the past, that may not work for you. I continued to Boot Camp until I delivered and ran until I was too uncomfortable to do it.

  • I've been doing Sara Haley's Expecting More. It has 6 workouts. I've found them more challenging than other prenatal DVDs I've tried. I love the workouts!
