Waiting..

So! I had my a/s today.. I found out I was 17 weeks and 5 days.. They originally thought I was 19 weeks. Anyways, I live in Vancouver Canada and you aren't able to find out the gender at the appointment or basically any other information. My doctor said they would call me with the results of the gender but the receptionist can't tell me anything else about the ultrasound over the phone. I will have to wait until my next doctors appointment and discuss everything with her. It's a damn waiting game! I'm sure if something was wrong they would have told me that.. I also saw the baby, all his or her limbs, heart beat.. Everything : so I'm assuming he or she is healthy and well!!! Ahh :

Does anyone else have to wait? Or is it just me haha

    Hey! I'm on vancouver island! My midwife scheduled my appointment for right after my A/S for this reason. I didn't mind the wait but she said she didn't want to do that to me.

    I have an appointment on the 2nd : so it's not tk bad of a weight either. I'm just super impatient!! Haha. Glad you have your appointment right after

    I'm in the greater Toronto area and they won't tell you at the appointment because of a trend towards gender selection issues. Is that a concern in Vancouver?

    Yes it's for that reason. Certain races decide wether they want to keep or abort when they find out the gender.. That's what I was told recently. My previous pregnancy I was mainly in England for and we found out the gender at the appointment!

    I'm on vancouver island too and it actually took me a week after to find out from my midwife...there ws a stat in there and births and not receiving the information.....its a touh wait.....

    Such a tough wait!! Hopefully no ones is to long! Do any of you get to know any of the Info AT te ultrasound at all?
    Or is it the same where you don't get any info.. Whatsoever!'
