I can't believe it's been over a week since Raziella was born. I love her so much (even the waking up at 3 am) haha. I had some issues with breastfeeding and today I am happy to say we have FINALLY transitioned from nipple shield to breast. It was a learning experience for both of us. Tomorrow I am going to visit the lactation consultant again to do a weight check and I have my first follow-up appointment for my C section. I honestly have no idea whether I have stitches or staples, lol. I just have tape over my incision and I can't see it ( because of my stomach) no biggie. I also got a pedicure today, which was AMAZING!! Man my feet went through a beating the last month with serious edema. Also, I have lost 37 lbs since I delivered 3/18. Crazy water retention. I feel great and hubby is coming home again this weekend

Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
