Photography Classes

Has anyone taken any photography classes in the metro area?  I got a DSLR for Christmas and looking to learn more about it.  I am looking for more of a hands on class vs a sit and talk about appeture, etc.  I went to a class where we sat and talked about apperture, etc for 2 hours and I learned some, but now need the next step.

Has anyone gone to Digital Photo Academy?  They have a groupon this week.

    Where do you live? I took a couple classes through Anoka-Hennepin & loved them!! They were cheap, I learned quite a bit & have made some really great friends from the class. We did a few field trips too, so it was fun & worth it I thought!!

    National Camera Exchange has classes at all locations. They are great "how to work your camera" classes. They also have specialized classes like shooting nature and at night which involve going out to shoot. I know Anoka Hennipen community Ed does a
