I can't find any reputable or consistent sources online.
I have some ruffle chips and Lays french onion dip in my house right now and all I want to do is eat it.
However, the dip is made with mostly water, oil, and onions but has 2% of milk products including cultured sour cream and skim milk. It does not say pasteurized on the glass can.
Can I eat this?
Re: Stupid Question...but I am craving this!
Yes. It has to be pasteurized to be sold in the US.

Good! I had some. I probably won't again for awhile. It was delicious.
I thought it was okay since I just opened it and the milk products are less than 2% of the whole ingredient list. <
yes
I've been eating chips and french onion dip like crazy! Enjoy!
