  I've heard good things about the motorola ones.  I have an older version of the Summer Infant monitor the pp mentioned and the quality isn't that great.  My friend's broke and their customer service was not helpful.

  Stay away from Summer Infant!  Ours broke after 5 months.  We were able to get a replacement, but it took SIX wks... they have the worst customer service too!  I am getting motorola for number 2.  I have heard good  things about t

  Thanks for all the responses- the one that broke on us was a summer infant and they were so difficult with us about it essentially accusing us of breaking it and trying to get a free one (we didn't break it; the monitor just stopped working one day).&nbsp
