Airplane travel advice

DS and I will be flying to Florida to visit my parents for a week in April.  DH has to work and will not be able to travel with us.  Does anyone have any tips/advice for traveling solo with a 2 month old?  My plan so far is to have DS in the Ergo to help me board and get settled in our seat and gate check the stoller and car seat.
