Repeat Csection

I am just 9 weeks along with our second baby. Our daughter was born via Csection 10.5 months ago. For a repeat section, where is the incision made? Above the previous?
For those who have had treat sections in the past, was the recovery harder than the first?

my second c section scar was right on top of my first. In other words, you only see one scar. The recovery was much easier with my second at first (maybe because I knew what to expect?) but because i couldn't really take it easy it took longer

I haven't had my RCS yet, but I asked my OB and he said they would use the same incision as the first.

I am pretty sure it is standard procedure to go over the same one.

My incision was made on top of the old one. I'm not sure about a harder recovery since I didn't have to take care of a toddler with my newborn.

I only have one scar, she cut out the old one. Recovery was better the second time, but neither of mine were bad. The repeat was a lot better experience than the first though. It was so much easier emotionally.

Just like everyone else mine is right over the last cut. My recovery the 2nd time was much easier than the first.
