10 month old constipated

What can I give my daughter to help when she is constipated?  I give her water with each meal, but the last few days she has really struggled when going to the bathroom.

    Pears and Prunes both work well! Also I have noticed we give her water to drink throughout the day and that helps a lot.

    Make sure your lo drinks water (or water mixed with pear juice 2 oz of pear juice with 2 oz of water). 2 oz at a time in sippy cup. No more than 4 oz a day. 

     The pear juice should be 100% juice and organic if possible. You can also try

    Pears, applesauce, and prune baby food works for DD.  (Knock on wood) She's never seemed to be constipated.
