Dry Hands!!!

Does anyone else have horribly dry hands/skin lately?  DD is 6 1/2 weeks old, and for past few weeks my hands (and actually, my feet, too!) have been painfully dry and cracked.

It doesn't seem to matter how much water I drink or how much lotion I put on my hands.  I suspect it's a combination of EBFing and washing my hands so much, and it's getting ridiculous.  When I made dinner last night, I had to chop up a jalapeno pepper, and my thumb, which is extra dry, felt like it was on fire for the next 3-4 hours!! 

Anyone have any advice?  Some sort of magical, super-hydrating lotion that will sooth my poor hands and feet?  I don't think it's physically possible for me to drink more water than I already am, I'm constantly chugging from my water bottle, it's pretty much an appendage at this point. Stick out tongue

    My hands were so bad they were bleeding.  On my dad's recommendation (he's a farmer), I went out to a feed store and bought u.d.d.e.r cream.   Its what farmers use on their hands and cows udders when they crack from milking.  OMG it

    Good to hear I am not the only one. I don't remember this happening with DS1 but he was born in June so the weather was different. I am just applying lots of lotion and hoping that spring and summer are here shortly.

    I think I may go right to the heavy-duty stuff and check out that uddder cream (I'm assuming The Bump hasn't fixed that little spam issue yet!).  There's a Tractor Supply Co a couple towns over from me, and it looks

    I use uddder cream at night or if the lanolin is sitting beside me I just use that... there is lanolin in the uddder cream.  It does take a bit for the uddder cream to really soak in but if you can handle it, its awesome.
    Sept 2009: off BCP, started charting
    Nov - March 2010: no period
    April - November 2010: Prometrium then clomid - BFN
    April 2011 - Finally moved and settled in new city
    June 30, 2011 - Ruptured Ovarian Cyst
    August 2011 - Met with RE - Bloodwork, etc = Dx PCOS, 1700mg of Metformin
    September 2011 - HSG/SIS - shows tissue in ute = Hysteroscopy
    September 2011 - Clomid + trigger + IUI #1 - cycle cancelled at baseline US - cyst on left ovary = 8 weeks of BCP
    December 2011 - IUI#1 Re-do- Clomid + 12/19 Trigger + 12/21 = BFN
    January 2012 - IUI#2- Clomid + Estrace CD13 + trigger + 1/22 = BFN February 2012 - IUI#3 - Clomid + Estrace - Failed to respond to Clomid found on CD 13 monitoring.
    Feb - Being of RE break-up!
    March - Being of crunchy phase aka Accupuncture
    June - Random Positive HPT!!
    Due February 17!
