Cervadil induction.

Im being induced next week and my dr just went over the process, insert the cervadil and wait....basically. lol

I would like to hear some birth storys that involve induction with cervadil

Im a FTM and dont know what to expect.

Please don't tell me anything that will completely freak me out. lol

    I had to be induced with my first at 41w5d. When I went in to the hospital, I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced, so the OB figured I wouldn't need Cervadil and Pitocin alone would do the trick. Well, it didn't. I was on Pitocin for over 8 hours and didn'

    I was induced for my DD with cervidil. She was my first child so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was a positive experience for me.

    Checked in at 6pm, got cervidil soon after. Was dialated 1cm.

    Doctor said, have a great night I will

    I had a Cervadil induction with my first. I checked in to the hospital at about 8 pm and after I got settled they inserted the Cervadil, which for me was not fun. It hurt, but that could've just been me and my nerves. They were going to wake me up the

    thanks for sharing all this ladies (and OP, for asking!).  I'm having an induction tomorrow night -- starting with Cervadil and progressing to pitocin if needed -- and I am also a FTM and was curious about othes experiences.
