Zany Zoo..

I was going to order DS a zany zoo for Easter.. I saw someone here had one, and thought DS would just love it! Anyway, I picked this one to order: (but, if anyone has a better recommendation -- I'm all for it!!)

I saw the age rec by the manufacturer is 3+.. that made me wonder why? I imagine maybe some of the side pieces are smaller, but I could easily just take those off and not allow him to play with them until he's bigger.. but, I thought he'd absolutely love being able to sit and spin all the activities on the sides...

What do you think? Also -- ~$80-$90 the normal price? Or is this high? Thanks!
