Speaking of registry returns...

Has anyone had issues returning something to BRU? We received a gift that was similar to something on our registry. (It was ordered from the registry and shipped to our house.) The item we did register for was marked as "purchased" when the (wrong) item was sent, so I'm pretty sure they just shipped the wrong one.

I don't have a gift receipt, and technically the item we received is not on the registry, because it's not the one we registered for. Do you think I'm going to run into an issue when I try to exchange it?

 (Worse comes to worse we just keep it... we registered for the adult cup holder for our travel system, and got the kid's cup holder... so no big deal.)

    BRU is the worst with returns. Do you have the packing slip showing what it should be?

    I don't... but I think my mother may. Long story short, it was shipped (with the travel system) to my house, then hidden by husband and given to me by mother at my shower. I think she took the shipping paperwork with her.

    They don't take returns without a receipt, but I know a lot of people will add the item to their registry and mark it as purchased. Then you can return it for store credit.

    I could be wrong but I'm almost certain I returned stuff there without a receipt with DD. As long as it was in their system of products, they didn't have an issue. Maybe it depends on the store how tight they are. Can't hurt to try!

    I have returned end numerous things without a receipt and haven't had a problem with getting store credit for the item so if they are the same price you will be fine. You can even use the store credit online if they don't have the item in the store.

    I returned a few things after my shower and didn't have receipts and I had no issue. The only down side was that they gave me the lowest ticketed price on most items so I didn't get full price. I really didn't care too much though bc I got some credit and
