For multiple reasons we had to move Kieran from the pack n' play in our room to his crib in the nursery and I'm proud to say he slept seven hours in it last night :D He woke up one time for a quick diaper change and feeding but other than that he was out. We're trying to start a bedtime routine with a bath, feeding and then bed by 8:30. Only thing is we couldn't get him down until midnight and that was after many attempts. Suggestions?

    Do you swaddle?  I find I can usually get Amelia to fall asleep faster if I swaddle her shortly after I feed her, and then let her doing a little comfort nursing while swaddled.  She has a little bit of reflux, so I usually hold her upright o

    Maybe this isn't a popular opinion, but at this age, DH and I haven't tried to establish a bedtime for the baby.  We didn't do it with DD1 either.  Instead, we watch for sleepy cues and go from there.  Neither of my babies were in bed by

    Oh yeah, I should add on to my post, since PPs also mentioned this: We usually don't get my daughter into bed until at least 10:00, sometimes as late as midnight. If we put her to bed much earlier, she'd be wide awake by 3 or 4 in the morning. Though i

    It's not set in stone. I'm just happy he'll sleep in his crib, no matter what time it is :)

    He hates swaddling but music might work.

    DS goes down between 89 but we make sure he is up from 5ish to bedtime. Works great for us. DS is 4 weeks old and slept from 96:30. My daughter slept through the night early on too. Keeping them up in the afternoon has worked for both of them.
