STOP WALKING RIGHT NOW!!!

I posed this in the thread below about sex but I feel I should share it for more people to see:

I have been KILLING myself walking every night, having contractions while walking and being beyond exhausted afterwards all for my doctor to tell me walking will not put you into labor. If you are in labor already it will help speed it up but it does nothing for you while you are dilated or just close to your due date.

It was like a dagger through my heart since I had been making such an effort to walk every night the past 5 weeks

So all you mamas walking like I was - go home, put your feet up and relax. I know I am done walking thats for sure

  • Mine could have just been a fluke, but whatever it was, it worked.  I also walked the dog every evening on my first pregnancy.  I had a MUCH more comfortable pregnancy that time. This time, we have a yard and just throw the ball for the dog and

Last time I went into labor while walking around the Mall of America. Now I'm totally sold on the whole walking getting this baby out of me thing whether it's

  • It doesn't stop labor, that's for sure.

If it seriously pains you to walk, I can understand stopping, but walking is exercise and exercise is definitely a good thing.  In fact, many people believe exercising may lead to a fa
