Hi, ladies. I haven't spent much time on this board lately but since we're starting our first IVF cycle soon, I'm probably going to have a lot of questions! We met with our doctor on Monday for our IVF consultation and he mentioned my FSH level was high when I did an IUI cycle with injectables in January. Nobody mentioned that to me a couple months ago. If I understood him correctly, it sounds like the concern with elevated FSH is that my body won't stimulate as well, and therefore won't produce as many eggs. Is that the gist of it? I'm going to be doing Lupron, Follistim and Menapur as soon as I go in for my baseline appt (hopefully within the next week).
Thanks in advance for any insight you may have about FSH or IVF in general. I'm pretty familiar with the process of IVF but now I'm nervous my body isn't going to cooperate.
When the world says, "Give up,"
Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

Re: First IVF cycle starting soon...
