There has GOT to be a reason DS won't sleep for more than a couple hours a night. He's doing it again: asleep at 12:45, awake at 3, asleep at 3:45, up at 5. Is it possible for him not to want to sleep in the RNP anymore? He's not terribly interested in eating, so it's not that. I just don't get it. And it's only been 2 days.

Its so hard those first couple of months. Honestly, there may not be a concrete reason he isn't sleeping consistantly. Those little people are enigmas. And what works one night may not work the next. However, this does not last

From your earlier post, he sounds really gassy. Try laying him on his left side, but placed vertically, against you - so he's sitting up, but his left shoulder and left hip are against your chest and stomach. Then, bounce him and pat his ba

If it makes you feel better, my LO is 10 weeks old and does this sometimes too....despite what the books might say I really think at this age they just kind of do what they do. Regarding the RNP, I would try to get him out of that of you canI have two clo

Sorry to repeat everyone else, but it does seem that he wants out of the RnP. I transitioned DS to his crib by having him nap only in the crib for about a week. Once he was used to the crib, we didn't have problems at night. I agree that they just get

I kept DD in her RNP until she was like 3 1/2 months.
Maybe let him fuss a little but and see if he will go back to sleep. I know in the beginning any little sound DD made I grabbed her or started to soothe her , which I think just woke her
