Family movie night offers new perspective for DS

DS occasionally struggles with his only status.

Last night, we had a family movie night and watched Up.  My sweet and sensitive boy was in tears over Carl and Ellie's backstory, particularly over their childless status.

As we comforted him, he said, "I'm happy that we have just one, mommy. They didn't get to have any babies and that's not fair"

My sweet baby :-)

(The sadness was short lived once that opening montage was overall, he loved the movie)

Sad and adorable at the same time! Such a good movie though, and our dog is pretty much the dog in that movie.  Neurotic to the core.

That is touching!  It sounds like you've got a very sweet boy!  I'm glad he enjoyed the movie, after the sad part.

And I agree with him--for those of us who struggled to get pregnant, there is a huge difference between zero and one. &nb
