  One of my relatives took the last name Aushwitz.  I think I would have declined that one.  I would probably try my darnedest to convince him to take my name.

  lol gotta say I would not take that name unless I was a sex ed teacher! JK I want to hyphenate my last name, thats how my DD is and I like it.

  You're kidding, right? DH would be taking MY name... or if nothing else, I'd insist we make up a new one.

  It depends on how desperate I was to get rid of my maiden name. If his name was THAT bad, I'd probably keep mine or hyphenate. Could he blame you?
