I went to an appt this morning and my MW told me that my uterus is measuring really high, she also said that during my a/s everything looked normal so that we shouldn't worry yet. I have another appt in 3 weeks to see if this is still a problem but she said that if I still have my uterus so high, I will need another scan to make sure everything is fine. I'm 25 weeks.
When I asked what does it mean, she said it means a very big baby. I'm very confused now because my belly is quite small and I have gained around 10 pounds, wouldn't a big baby make me look big? FTM so no idea if baby's size can influence so much my own size.
Anyone had this in other pregnancies? How did it go?
I'm planning on birthing med-free, can this have any influence?

Re: high uterus?
I actually have this now! I am going in for a scan today bc my fundal height is further along than baby should be. Granted, I was a 9lb baby myself as was my brother. I got my GD results back and I passed (107), so I may just have a bigger baby.
At my 24 week check-up I was measuring 2-3 weeks ahead. My OB was a little concerned and said I would get an ultrasound after my 28 week check-up if I was still measuring so big. I also gained 25+ pounds so far so I'm hoping baby just had a
Thank you, they told me not to worry for now so I guess I'll wait for the next appt and see. My birth plan is not more important than a healthy baby, if a c/s is on the line it doesn't matter as long as LO is fine.
GL to all of you and we'll keep
