I have been a lurker on here over the past few weeks but never really posted. Partly because when cj was first born some things on the board just scared the bejesus out of me and so it took me awhile to get comfortable with my LO before being able to read posts without becoming a total worry wart. Anyways, I had a breezy pregnancy until I was diagnosed with PIH at 32 weeks and put on bedrest. I managed to keep LO cooking for 4 more weeks before being diagnosed with severe pre e and induced at 36 weeks. CJs birth was pretty traumatic, his heart rate dropped lower and lower as soon as the pitocin kicked in and I was rushed for an emergency c section after his hear rate dipped below 90bpm. I was so scared we would lose our LO before they got him out, especially since they did not know what was causing the distress (turns out he had wrapped the cord 2 times around his neck). The Sound of his little cries were music to my ears, he we 5lbs 7 oz of precious baby boy. .He had a short extended stay due to jaundice (6 days), but is doing very well and I just love him so much!
I have found this board to be incredibly supportive and would love to take part.
