Pain in Shoulder

So about an hour ago I started having this pain in my left shoulder/shoulder blade and upper back.  Do you think this is cause for alarm??  Also, what could it be?

    well, what are you doing? hunched over a computer? were you cleaning? this is so vague.

  • I was driving home, that's all. No strenuous activity and no not hunched over the computer.
  • I'm not trying to freak you out, but certain shoulder pain can be a sign of preeclampsia.  I know very little about it, but I remember shoulder pain is something I was told to watch out for.  Read about it here: https://www.preeclampsia.o

    TTC #1 7/10, Me (31)- Dx DOR (AMH 0.6); DH (30)- normal
    BFP on Cycle #8. Natural M/C at ~8 weeks
    IUI #1 and #2 (8/12, 9/12)- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFNs
    IVF #1 (EPP) 13R/10M/9F, 5DT 1-4AA blast, beta #1-148, beta #2-322, 5 frosties!

  • I get trapped gas that is incredibly painful in my chest/shoulders sometimes. It helps to stretch it out ad burp a bunch.

  • Could also be coming from your neck.. most people when they are sitting tend to slouch whether they realize it or not, which puts more strain on your neck.  Your posture is also changing over time due to the growth of the baby.  I would monit

  • Thanks everyone!  I went to the ER just to be safe and they said I strained my shoulder pretty badly (don't know how) but everything is good with baby :)

  • One time I woke up and thought I dislocated my shoulder, I went to the chiro and was fixed. Pregnancy does weird things.
