What are your tips for falling back to sleep after nighttime feedings? I EFF so sadly I'm wide awake preparing bottle etc and by the time DD is done, I'm still up for another hour or so. Anyone else have this issue? And what have you done?
One thing that helps me is I bring a bottle with water in it plus the formula in one of those dispensers into the bedroom. This way I don't have to leave the bed unless a diaper change is needed. It allows me to stay somewhat drowsy and the less movement

I EP and our big problem is we live in a two story house. I bought a second bottle warmer and a cooler for the second floor so I don't have to run up and down the stairs all night.
I breast feed but I still have the same problem.. It takes close to an hour for her to eat and by the time she's done I'm wide awake.. You'd think with as exhausted as I am I would fall right to sleep..
I have a Daughter born 2/26/2013. She is pretty much amazing!
My issue is that we have a video monitor and I can't help but lay awake and watch her after I feed her! Usually she's still awake so I watch to see if she's going to fall asleep or if she's going to cry... But I do want to say what a great suggestion to b
I've tried to minimize everything that could wake me up...she's in our room in the RnP...I change her on the bed in the middle of the night, feed her in bed, even use those super expensive 2 ounce ready to feed bottles at night...feed in the dark etc. lik
Two things. One is to feed while lying down with baby's head in crook of your arm that way I keep my eyes closed & stay sleepy. Also I go for broke & use the ready made (Similac on the Go 8oz) bottles. I don't care what the extra
