F/U to early intervention referral

A long time ago, maybe close to 2 months now, I posted about my kids being referred to EI for speech. It was a long process; first a visit from a social worker who got specifics, then a visit from a speech pathologist and a child development specialist for their evaluations, and finally today was when everyone sat down to determine eligibility for services. They both qualified because the testing determined they are both at about 8 month old levels for expressive and receptive language. Everything else was fine. So starting next week we are getting weekly visits for them. I am looking forward to it!
