When is the growth spurt?

People talk a lot about the different growth spurts and I think I'm living through a second. However, I have heard some people talk like the growth spurts occur based on gestational age rather than how long it's been since LO was born.

So my LO was born 1 week early. She is 7 weeks today but does that mean she is really going through her 6 week growth spurt now???

We're going through a growth spurt, too. DD was born at 35w4d so I'm not sure what one this is, but it's wearing me out!
