Pressure on left side

in 1st Trimester

I was hoping someone here could ease my mind.  I am 5W2D pregnant and have been having some pressure on my left side of my uterus/ovary area.  It doesnt hurt, but it is more prevalent on the left side.  I am scared it is an ectopic but am not sure.  It could just be my uterus expanding.  I got bloodwork done today so that should help to ease my mind a bit.  But just wanted to see if anyone else had this?Thank you!!

    I had the exact same pressure, if not a little pain at around 5 weeks. I thought the worst of course, but ended up waiting until first ultrasound appointment at 7 weeks. Everything was fine, and my doc chalked it up to round ligament pain.

    Thank you for that answer!  I have been stressing so much over every little symptom and pain.  I have my first ultrasound in a week so I guess I will know more then.  My dr. told me that if my HCG are low then it could be ectopic but I am h

    I had the same, but more on right side. 2 u/s later baby is good and tubes are clear!

    Good news!  My doctor called and all my numbers are normal.  Guess I just have to wait until the 3rd.  Thank you for all your responses.  I guess I just need to start being more positive!
