Hi ladies, I'm sure this has been asked before, but can you think of any preemie-specific questions you asked or would have liked to ask your pedi before signing on with them? We are meeting with one recommend to us tomorrow and want to prepared.

I would ask about

---any specific issues your preemie has (BPD, PDA, home o2, etc).

--who will follow developmental issues, pedi or nicu clinics

--talk about adjusted age and see how much they take that into account for feeding/weig

I asked ours how much experience they had with preemies. I also asked about adjusted age and how that will relate to our specific child and her issues. I ended up switching to a different doctor in the practice after a year, because I just got a better fe

I would also ask about whether or not they have someone devoted to getting Prior Authorizations from your insurance company for Synagis, therapy, etc.
