teething question

So DD has had a white line on her gums since saturday, appeared to be a tooth that hasn't broken through yet, when I checked her gums this evening to see if we have had any progress I see this small bright red blood blister looking thing and no line in her gums anymore. Has anyone experienced this?? She has her 9 month well baby visit thursday so we will be asking the pedi then, assuming a tooth hasn't come through, but it just seems so weird that what clearly appeared to be a tooth about to erupt was there for 2 whole days and now nothing but a blood blister that doesn't even cover the whole area the possible tooth was showing.

    I should have updated my post, DD has a tooth, it cut through sometime late last night early this morning and the blood blister thing went away with the tooth coming through, so I'm guessing it was due to that. We will be double checking with the pedi Thu
