My friends are super supportive and want to throw me a friends shower. I typically work on Sundays so they threw out two weekend dates and I can pick either a Saturday when I am off but the two throwing the shower may have to take off or a Sunday when they are off but I will have to take off. Should I feel guilty if I pick a Saturday when I am off since I am trying to bank my PTO for maternity leave?

I just don't see a shower as an event that anyone should have to take time off of work for!
