GD numbers higher than normal?

I am so confused. I have GD. I am on insulin 3 times a day and 4 finger pricks. I eat almost the same thing every day. However, today my fasting number were way over and then my after lunch number was waayyyyyy high. Does anyone else have an off day for no reason? My numbers are usually just so good, I can?t understand it?

  • It does get better.  My fasting numbers wouldn't go down, so now, I take medicine at night.  I'm all good now.  I have a high here and there, but barely over.  I know that I can't eat bread at all, or my number spikes.  Good luck,

  • Once in a while I do have weird spikes even though I am eating the same thing I do every day.  I started to see a pattern that if I would eat then go sit on the couch or stay at my desk at work my numbers would be high.  After I eat I try to mov
