How prepared were you?

One of our closest friends is in labor today (yay!!!). She is 38.5ish weeks along. She and her husband ended up preparing most things for the arrival of the baby at the last minute, like they just painted the room a week ago. They did not even have the crib built until just before then. They are still waiting for the bassinet her mom is sending them to come in the mail and they are also still waiting on the chair/rocker she ordered to come in. O_O While I KNOW that babies need very little and can certainly make it even if you had nothing other than clothes, diapers, wipes, and some place for them to sleep, this kind of thing would have stressed the heck out of me. I was pretty much totally ready as far as Addy's room being done and having all supplies, clothes, etc. right after Christmas and Addy was due 2-26. How were you ladies in the preparedness department?
