Son poops A LOT

My 17 month old son poops 5-6 times a day....many days.  He is gassy fairly often and also has a constant runny nose. He started in a day home 5 months ago and I thought he always had a cold, but 5 months? I am starting to wonder if it is cows milk. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thinking of trying him on almond or cows milk. He is does not have any trouble gainging weight and is almost 29 lbs. Advice? TIA!

    We're having the same problem. DS is on soy as he had a reaction to cows milk, so we're in the middle of pulling all dairy to see if that helps. If it isn't better by next week, we're going to switch him from soy to almond milk.
