For all you "Put Togetrher Moms" ... how do you do it? And why can't I?
ME ... I roll into swim class Saturday morning, in too tight sweat pants, a too tight hoodie, unbrushed hair in a knot on my head, and no make up. I think I brushed my teeth and washed my face? But I don't really remember? I was wearing my Uggs, so do I get "fashion" points for that? Or are Uggs sooooo last year? Leaving class, I look even worse - like a drown rat (well, a fat drown rat).
YOU ... Show up to swim class looking effortlessly put together. Your dressed like you are meeting your BFFs for a girls day out. Your make up is done. Your hair is pulled up in a cute bun. Even as we're leaving the class, you still look put together - Like you never even got in the pool.
Ok, I know I sound catty. But am I the only one that feels this way when they see other mom's out and about? I'm lucky I look "presentable" when I go to work. But on weekends, wow, I'm surprised I haven't seen myself on "peopleofwalmart.com".

At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
Re: "Put Together" Moms
I'm sorry. I get what you're saying and all, and I'm not trying to be rude, but I hate this kind of stuff. It's very mommy-martyrish. Some people have time to get ready and dressed up, some people don't. Some people care about t

Having clothes that fit is a huge deal. They look better, you look thinner, and they make you feel better. It is tough to spend money on what feels like "in between sizes", but the bottom line is if your clothes don't fit you need some new

Hey Ladies! Thanks for all the advise.
Don't get me wrong, I DO all these things during the week. I work, so I get up at 4:30 am, shower, eat, make myself look presentable (make up and dry my hair), pack my lunch, pump, DD's b

I pretty much do the same as Lucy...I have curly hair, so I shower, throw some mousse in it, blow dry it for 5 minutes, and call it a day. I do my make-up lightly and it takes me 10 minutes. My outfit is usually a pair of jeans and a hoodie though. I'm

Most days I am lounging around the house in sweats. But when I leave the house, I take the few minutes to get ready. My husband works 12 hour shifts, so he's home a lot. If he's home - he can take care of the kids while I get ready. &
