Okay, so maybe I'm being silly, maybe just really squeamish, but it is it absolutely necessary to watch a childbirth video or two before you yourself go into labor? I know it probably helps to prepare you, but honestly it just freaks me out still. I tried to watch one today out of curiosity, but I didn't make it past 20 seconds of it. I'd rather read of what to expect. What do you ladies think?

Just stick to TLC's a birth story. nothing too crazy. I don't know if you'll feel any more prepared though!

Eh, I don't know if it is absolutely necessary. Unless they give you a mirror of your vag while you give birth (and you can request one if you want to) then you won't be seeing much from your vantage point.
